All relationships have their challenges…

Sorcerer Tarquin and his companions started out like any somewhat successful adventuring company…take on the odd job, fulfill the terms of the contract, get paid. With the jobs that they preferred to take on, there was little risk, and while the pay wasn’t great, it was steady.

When Tarquin’s idol, a world-renowned wizard of legendary power, asks for a favor, refusing was the furthest thing from the young sorcerer’s mind … especially when promised remuneration in the form of wealth, fame … and access to the old wizard’s personal library.

Voxilia, a dragon priestess of the Father of Dragons, and her dragonkin warrior companion, Chrys, had been training nearly all their lives to fight the enemies of their god. Finally called to their duty, Voxilia suffers a crisis of faith when she falls in love with Tarquin, the sorcerer prophesied to herald the end of dragonkind.

What started out as a simple catacomb clean-out job becomes a race to save the multiverse…and their children…from forces that would destroy them all.
